We (“ChefCona”) are a technology platform that brings together chefs and customers thereby enabling businesses and healthy living for individuals, families and corporate bodies.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains the information we collect, why it is collected and who and when we disclosed it to. This policy applies to our website, mobile applications and other online services provided by or facilitated through ChefCona. By accessing or using our websites, mobile applications or other online services, you agree to this Policy. If you do not accept this Policy, you should not use our platform.

Information we collect

The information we collect are provided to us directly by the chef (“service provider”) and consumer (“client”) upon registration on our platform.

Service Providers

A service provider (“Chef”) is obligated to provide the following information: (1) Individual full name, (2) business name (if operating a business), (3) home or business address, zip code and state, (4) email address, personal or business phone number, (5) identification data (example driver’s license or other government identification) and (6) cuisine specialties and types of service provided (catering, delivery, in-person service).

The Client

A client is obligated to provide the following information: (1) Individual full name, (2) home or business address, zip code and state, (3) email address, personal or business phone number and (4) identification data (example driver’s license or other government identification)

Media

Service provider can upload limited number of pictures and short videos to their profile to promote their services. This media should be without location and sensitive tags and will be vetted for conformity with the business structure of the platform. Uploaded contents are accessible to the public and as such may be downloaded by a third party. ChefCona reserves the right to delete non-conforming media
content without notice.

User information control

Users (service providers and clients) can modify and change their information except their username. We expect that the users update their information on their profile page as soon as there is a change. Also, a user can communicate their consent to close an account. ChefCona will honor this request as soon as reasonably possible. When an account is closed, we may retain a user’s information to forestall fraud, resolve service disputes, claim owed fees and any other purpose at our discretion. When an account is closed, ChefCona will not be responsible for a user’s information.

User information security

We at ChefCona are conscious of sensitivity of information in today’s digital world, and will utilize physical and cyber security procedures to ensure the integrity of user information. However, we do not guarantee 100% failsafe measures as no security is. Thus, users are expected to guard against unauthorized access to their sign in credentials, and other sensitive information. ChefCona will not be liable for unauthorized activity on an account. Any and every information shared with a client by a service provider for service transaction and contract is the sole responsibility of both.

How we share your information

Except for media contents (pictures and videos), we disclose your information in the following manner:

• (a) We may make your information available to authorized agencies and establishments when required by federal and state laws for the purposes of legal processes including but not limited to security, subpoena, court orders, criminal and background checks etc. (b)When we exercise legal rights over user agreements and (c) in legal litigation or claim involving ChefCona.
• Your information may be shared with our business partners for the purposes of business expansion, merger or acquisition.
• Your consent will be requested before we disclose your information to third party marketers, academics and research agencies. Such disclosure will be made in anonymity.
